How Postface uses your Google account
Postface connects to your Gmail and Google Calendar with read-only access. It uses that data for one thing: writing the AI-generated digests it sends you by SMS. Here is exactly what each permission is for.
Gmail
Read-only access
To summarize new email. Postface reads the messages that arrive in your inbox so it can write a short digest of what came in and what needs a reply. It never sends, deletes, or moves mail.
Google Calendar
Read-only access
To include upcoming events. Postface reads your calendar so each digest can mention what is coming up today and tomorrow. It never creates or changes events.
- Used only to generate and deliver your digests — never sold, never used for advertising, never used to train AI models.
- Your Google connection is stored encrypted and tied to your account alone.
- Disconnect any time from Integrations in your Postface home, or by revoking access in your Google Account.
Postface's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
