Blueprints

A Blueprint is a standing instruction written in plain language. Postface runs it against the accounts you connected, on the schedule you choose, and texts you the result. If there is nothing worth saying, it stays quiet.

Examples

• Morning brief — Look at my calendar for today and any unread email from the last 12 hours. Tell me the first meeting, anything that needs a reply before noon, and one thing I can safely ignore.
• Waiting on replies — Find email threads where I sent the last message more than 3 days ago and nobody replied. List who I am waiting on and what about, oldest first.
• Repo pulse — Check my GitHub notifications and any pull requests waiting on my review. Tell me what needs me today and skip bots and CI noise.
• Slack catch-up — Summarise anything in Slack from the last 24 hours where I was mentioned or asked a direct question. Group by channel and keep it short.
• Meeting follow-ups — Read my Granola notes from today's meetings and pull out every action item assigned to me, with who asked for it.
• Training week — Sum up my Strava activities from the past 7 days: total distance, time, and the longest effort. Compare with the week before in one sentence.

Schedules

Scheduled blueprints run in your local time zone. Any blueprint can also be run on demand from the app, or by texting its name.

Limits by plan

Sharing to the library

Blueprints are private by default. You can submit one to the Postface library so other people can copy it. Submitted blueprints show as In review until they are approved (In library) or sent back (Not approved). Only the instruction is shared, never your data or your connected accounts.
